Are you networking strategically?

When I was in my early twenties I had a mentor tell me to be in as many organizations and boards as possible to “network.” I signed up for nine boards and was super busy running to all of the meetings. Each week my schedule was super full and I felt very important because I was sooooo busy.

B.S. – or your Belief System – has been running the show of your life and you may not have even been aware of it. Belief system can be thought of as your identity. Brain researchers now know that we store beliefs in our subconscious mind and they impact every decision you make.

What could "showing up for yourself" do for you?

• It could help you find time to read personal growth/development books.

• It could help you time for your faith/gratitude practice.

• It could help you set yourself up to have focus and energy each day.

• It could help you feel less reactionary and more in control.

There is something magical that happens when we write to help others. You never know who might be influenced by your story or your experiences. You never know what will come of that book, but if you have intention from the start to write to help someone, eventually it will.
